The Minutes of the Meeting of Oct. 9, 2001 were read and accepted.
NYFTTA Board of Directors Meeting Oct.24,2001  7 PM                
 
Held at The Sportsman's Education Center, Babylon NY

This is a special Board meeting to review SAC decisions and get an update on  the Sportfishing Education Center.

NYFTTA was given a free booth at the new Sportsman"s Show to be held in Brentwood in March.

Lenora reported that the ultimate goal for NYTTA and the Sportfishing Education Center is that NYFTTA is the leasee.

Security for the Center if the facility is leased out would require a responsible person to be present. A Central Service Alarm System should be in place.

NYFTTA would charge a $ 50.00 fee for organizations to use the facility.

School groups would pay a $ 3.00 donation per school child with a $100.00 cap.

We would have Charter Memberships which would be "Friends of the Center".

Fundraising ideas are still need for items to sell in the Center.

No action was taken on SAC Decisions.
