NYFTTA vs. The State of New York

Submitted on behalf of the NYFTTA Membership Litigation Proposal

As of this date, May 7 2002, the NYFTTA board of Directors grants
permission and sanctions a lawsuit, on behalf of NYFTTA,  against the State
of New York.  Litigation is concerning the passing and signing into law of
the "Lead Fishing Sinker Ban."

At a time, commencing after the Governor of the State of New York signs
into law the "Lead Fishing Sinker Ban", the president of NYFTTA will pursue
litigation in defense of the fishing tackle industries.

Any litigation will be geared at the unconstitutionality of the "Lead Fishing Sinker Ban" upon this industry.

Clarification:
The "Lead Fishing Sinker Ban" (Bill S4786/A08683) is geared at restricting
ONLY retail sale of lead fishing sinkers (1/2 oz or less) and not the possession or use of lead fishing sinkers (1/2 oz or less)

The president of NYFTTA is authorized to use any and all means at his disposal to litigate, including however not limited to , borrowing funds, raising dues, seeking parties to this action along with financial support or negotiating a passive compromise in lieu of litigation.

NYFTTA will be bound to and held accountable for any and all agreements
negotiated and authorized by the president of NYFTTA.

This act will remain continuous until revoke by the NYFTTA board of
Directors.
