NYFTTA's Political Action Committee will be working hard against this.

Loans are in negotiation for the Sportfishing Center.

There will be a meeting with D.E.C. early part of next week to discuss scup and fluke. We thought that fluke would be status quo.
Scup proposals: open with small bag then go to 50, July 1st. To Oct.20th with 50 fish, or June 15th to Sept. 15th with 50 fish then close for 2 weeks & 50 fish again.
Carl Miller brought up the problem of too many commercial crab traps in the Bay. John stated that we can propose some legislation. Carl will have some ideas by next meeting.

Linda stated that there will be a slight increase in the price of the rulers to NYFTTA so NYFTTA agreed to charge distributors $ 1.25 each and retailers $1.50 each. We will start with 5,000 rulers. John will get back to Linda with definite regulations by next week so the rulers can get started.

Linda also stated that Zip Printing who gets us the rulers would like the business from the Sportfishing Center. They can print on tee-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, hats etc. and will even help with logos and artwork. They are price competitive.

It was agreed that they will be contacted.
